Refrigerator Not Cooling

Check that the unit is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Clean the condenser coils — dirty coils are the most common cause of poor cooling. Check the door gaskets for tears or gaps. If the compressor runs but the unit doesn't cool, the refrigerant may be low — call a certified tech.

Dishwasher Not Draining

Check the drain filter at the bottom of the tub — it's often clogged with food debris. Clean it and run a cycle. Also check the drain hose for kinks. If the dishwasher still won't drain, the drain pump may need replacement.

Washer/Dryer Issues

Washer not spinning: check the lid switch (top-loaders) or door latch (front-loaders). Dryer not heating: check the thermal fuse — it's a common failure point and inexpensive to replace. Always clean the lint trap and vent duct to prevent fire hazards and improve drying efficiency.
